COVID-19 / ARP ESSER III

Franklin Public Schools has developed and updated a "Return to School Plan" in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic for the 2023-2024 School Year.

As we transition to the 2023-2024 school year and beyond, Franklin Public Schools will continue to update its plan, protocols, and seek to address any needs replaced to, or associated with, the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with its school community. The original plan will remain intact and "addendums" to the plan for subsequent school years will be added to reflect changing circumstances and guidance.

Franklin Public Schools intends to use federal ARP ESSER resources in accordance with the established parameters and to the other allowable uses. Below are links to the Return to School Plan and a corresponding survey for you to provide your feedback on the plan and the use of ARP ESSER III funds.

Franklin Public Schools will receive $477,783.00 in ARP ESSER III resources. Twenty percent (20%) $95,556.60 must be used for student learning loss due to the pandemic. This will leave a balance of $382,226.40 for other projects. These funds are restricted in use from the Federal Government.
